The University of St.Gallen operates two different funds which are able to support you when it comes to funding your studies. More information can be found here.
Due to our flexible curriculum you can choose when you want to take your classes which allows you to take a part-time job. Many students work as assistants at institutes or in the administration of the University of St. Gallen. Furthermore, some companies offer positions as "working students" with flexible employment contracts. Note that some positions will require proficiency in German.
The MBF Fellowships are intended to inspire students who have already an excellent record in university studies or professional life to attend the MBF programme. Moreover, the MBF Fellowships provide an incentive for constantly good results in the programme. Each of these MBF Fellowships amounts to CHF 8'000, with CHF 3'000 being paid at the beginning of the programme, and CHF 5'000 after passing the compulsory course examinations with a minimum grade of 5.0 within twelve months after entering the MBF programme. All students who have been admitted to the MBF will be automatically considered for these fellowships. The students awarded with one of the MBF Fellowships will be informed in their letter of admission.
Starting from the 2016 intake, five of those MBF Fellowships are exclusively awarded to female entrants.
Thanks to the STARR International Foundation the MBF Program can grant CHF 10'000 to two highly talented students (each) with a recognized Bachelor's degree from a foreign university each year. The fellowships will be granted upon application. The information on how to apply is provided to the students after their admission to the MBF programme.
Each year two new MBF entrants have the chance to obtain the support of the MBF Alumni Club community. The support includes a sponsorship of CHF 1000, coaching activities, access to MBF Alumni Club events and the opportunity to stay in close contact to the MBF Alumni Club community. The fellowships will be granted upon application, based on individual strengths and achievements. Awarded fellows are expected to participate in various MBF-HSG Alumni Club events. The information on how to apply is provided to the students after their admission to the MBF Program.
